Evironmental Film Festival in DC

Welcome to the 19th Annual Environmental Film Festival!

As the Environmental Film Festival launches its annual celebration of the natural world on screens across Washington, D.C., we explore one of the most controversial and timely topics of our day: the critical relationship between energy and the environment. Please join us in March as we present 150 diverse and engaging films from 40 countries, enhanced by the perspectives and knowledge of 52 filmmakers and 94 special guests, whose creative energy will enliven the Festival.

Decisive Decade Live Stream

We have entered the Decisive Decade, a critical, bewildering moment in which deeper conversations about "right action" are desperately needed. Or, as Bioneer Kenny Ausubel recently stated: "The shift has hit the fan!"

Given the quickening pace of global change and our mounting crises, all of us are going to have to step fully into our power and actively engage in shifting the catastrophic course that humanity is on.

Wisdom 2.0 Conference Live Stream

The Wisdom 2.0 Conference is a one-of-a-kind event that launched in Silicon Valley end of April, 2010, and brought together people from a variety of disciplines, including technology leaders, Zen teachers, neuroscientists, and academics to explore how we can live with deeper meaning and wisdom in our technology-rich age.

A live stream for the 2011 Wisdom 2.0 Conference February 25th - 27th in Silicon Valley starts Friday at 1pm.

Sustainatopia Film Series

Sustainatopia Film & Discussion 2011 is a 16 film series taking place at University of Miami, Miami Beach Cinematheque and Little Haiti Black Box Theater. Films will include top new releases in the following categories: The ECOMB Environmental Film Series at SUSTAINATOPIA FILM 2011, Empowering Women and Building a Sustainable Haiti. Top filmmakers in the space will be present for discussion.

SF Green Film Festival

Announcing the San Francisco Green Film Festival 2011! Our goal is to inspire environmental action through media arts. With two screens showing over 70 film premieres, and a Festival Hub hosting workshops, panels, and parties, the festival gives filmmakers a unique platform for their work, and gives the audience opportunities to watch, share, discuss and act.

Media That Matters Conference

Media That Matters is a conference for established and aspiring filmmakers, nonprofit communications leaders, funders, and students who want to learn and share cutting-edge practices to make their media matter.

This year's theme, "Storytelling across Platforms," focuses on today's evolving media world in which publics can engage with creative projects across platforms such as radio, the web and mobile devices, as well as film and TV. Watch for updates on keynote speakers, panel discussions and more!
